The Baltimore Ravens won their fifth Super Bowl title in six seasons, and they’ll be celebrating their fifth straight victory in the postseason when the team faces off against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The Ravens won the AFC South in 2017 with Joe Flynn, a quarterback who was drafted by the team in the first round of the 2014 draft.
This year’s Ravens also added former Ravens wide receiver Justin Tucker to the roster and signed former Ravens offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth to a five-year, $48 million contract extension.
While the Ravens are certainly a team on the rise, there’s no question that they’ve been getting better all year long.
The Ravens were ranked by ESPN as the fourth-best team in football, behind only the Denver Broncos, San Francisco Giants and Indianapolis Colts, and finished with a winning percentage of .579.
While they’re currently ranked No. 3 in the NFL, they’ll play host to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17, which could help the Ravens climb back into the top 10.
